A taste of summer, in a class of its own.
Our White Cherries (Rainier) are as beautiful as they are delicious. With golden-yellow skin and a natural pink-to-red blush, these cherries have a bold, sweet flavour that makes them one of the most special varieties we grow.
New to Rainier white cherries?
Our 1KG box is the perfect taster size if you haven’t tried this special variety before. Discover their beautiful golden skin, pink blush and exceptionally sweet flavour before coming back for a bigger box!
What makes our Electric Cherries different?
We've eliminated the use of fossil fuels across our orchard. From pruning and frost protection to harvesting, our orchard operations are powered only by our electric machinery, running on our solar power. Every cherry is grown here with care, sunshine and a whole lot of innovation!
A seasonal treat
Rainier white cherries have a very short harvest window, delicate skin and exceptional flavour, making them a seasonal treat worth looking forward to. Each 1 KG box contains a mixed-size selection, with every cherry handpicked with care.
Perfect for sharing with family and friends, or to send as a thoughtful gift to someone special.
With a warmer-than-average spring so far, we’re currently expecting to harvest our first white cherries just before Christmas. Please note that harvest timing for our white variety very much depends on weather and growing conditions in November & December, so this is our current estimate and may change as the season progresses. If our expected timing changes, we'll let you know.
Delivery
Our white cherries are sent via NZ Post Overnight Perishable service to help ensure they arrive fresh. Due to their delicate skin and the risk of delays in transit, we can only guarantee delivery to main urban areas this season.
With El Niño conditions pointing towards a potentially very hot summer, we strongly recommend only sending to main urban delivery addresses. Deliveries outside of our main urban areas can take longer, and the combination of high temperatures and extended transit times increases the risk of cherries arriving in poor condition. We want to give your white cherries the best possible chance of arriving fresh and in excellent condition.
Orchard pickup: You can also collect your order directly from our Central Otago orchard between 9am and 11am on your selected delivery date.
