Master Electricians NZ Electrical Conference 2025

Last month the orchard was packed with activity as we hosted one of our biggest tours to date. Five full busloads of electricians from all over the country rolled into the orchard as part of the NZ Electrical Conference 2025 and it was an absolute pleasure showing them how we do things here at Electric Cherries.

With the sun shining and the orchard in full spring swing, we took the crew on a behind-the-scenes tour of how we grow and harvest premium cherries using 100 percent electricity. It was all part of an incredible day organised by Master Electricians NZ. Earlier that morning, our own Mike Casey spoke at the conference about how electricians have a key role to play in the future of farming and electrification in NZ. It was exciting to be part of those conversations and even better to bring that vision to life out here among the cherry trees.
