Electric Cherries is home to the world's only fully electric commercial cherry orchard. Powered by renewable energy and using only electric machinery, it offers visitors a unique opportunity to experience premium cherry production and sustainable farming in action.
Mike Casey only hosts a small number of tour experiences during the year due to his commitments with Rewiring Aotearoa. Every tour experience is primarily hosted by Euan White, co-owner and who along with Mike built Electric Cherries is responsible for running the day-to-day orchard operations, providing first-hand insights into our journey. Tours may also be hosted by Rebecca Casey.
Our tours are designed primarily for adults with an interest in agriculture, sustainability, innovation or premium food production. Children are welcome when accompanied by an adult to any of our tours free of charge.
